The Charles Frederick Wickwire Family maintains this website. The patriarch of the family is Charles Senior though he goes by the name Pete. His son Charles Junior is the driving force behind the exploration of the names originating from the town of Wickwar. He also does not use the name Charles and goes by the name Rick.
Rick Wickwire realized that he knew little about the origins of the Wickwire name. During his investigation he found a book about the Wickware name entitled "Genealogy of the Wickware Family published in 1909. But this discovery did not end the search, it lit the path of an ever expanding history of a truly amazing family. This website holds the record of that search.
Also participating in this adventure are Rick's two sons, Trey and Eric Wickwire. Trey is also a Charles and takes his nickname from being the third in line. Both Trey and Eric help to keep the website maintained. Joining the Wickwire men are Rick's wife Fran, Trey's wife Kim and their daughter Elli-Mac.
